Marvin Leo Tucker

BURLINGTON - Marvin Leo Tucker, 58, passed
away on Monday, December 30, 2002, at Mount Carmel Medical and
Rehabilitation Center in Burlington.
He was born June 16, 1944, in East Chicago, Indiana to
Leo and Martha (nee: Canady) Tucker and had resided in Burlington over 26
years. On October 3, 1964, in Racine, he was united in marriage to
Cheryl Diane Lensert.
He was a graduate from Horlick High School and also
received two years of education from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
He was employed for 10 years at Piggly Wiggly and then became a Technical
Specialist for S.C. Johnson Wax, where he worked for 35 years. Marvin
was a member and had a strong commitment to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, and canoeing.
Survivors include his mother, Martha Tucker-Panko of
Racine; his wife Cheryl Tucker of Burlington; daughter, Wendi
(Timothy) Koenen of Elkhorn; sons, Lance (Annette) Tucker of Waukesha
and Jeffrey (Cathy) Tucker of Burlington; grandchildren, Evan, Emily,
Kaylee, Abigail, and McKenna; sisters, Martha Schimanski, Karen
(Chris) Gapko, Debra (Mark) Wells, Judi (Jim) Christensen, Pat (Doc) Spanske,
and Lana (Loren) Schlagel; brother, Bill Tucker; and brother-in-law,
Wayne (Joan) Lensert. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo
Tucker in 1972; and his grandparents.
Services will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church,
417 South Kane Street, Burlington, on Friday, January 3, 2003, at 7 p.m.
with Rev. Robert W. Bolling officiating. Private family burial will
take place at Burlington Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on
Friday from 3:30 until 6:30 p.m. Memorials have been suggested to Our
